One of our most popular lasers sold, this classic 532nm DPSS green laser pointer offers extreme brightness, power, and beam clarity at an affordable price. Because the human eye is very sensitive to green with wavelength 555nm, this laser will appear brighter when compared to other lasers we offer at the same power output. This laser is available in power outputs from 10mW - 150mW, enjoy!

The Laser Pointer Series is our most basic laser series available in a variety of wavelengths and a respectable range of power outputs between 5mW - 400mW. This pen-style laser, powered by just two AAA batteries, offers ultimate power and portability so you can put it in your pocket where ever you go.


The Laser Pointer Series offers some of the highest powered pen-styled lasers in the world. We accomplish this by using only the highest grade laser diodes, custom driver circuitry, and glass optics that are properly coated to reduce power loss. Our lasers are professionally assembled in a dust-free environment where laser modules are assembled and fitted within a brass case which is ideal for heat dispersion. Each laser is equipped with an LED indicator above the on / off switch.

Class: Laser Classification System
For safety reasons, lasers are classed from 1 to 4 based on wavelength and increasing power output. For example, class 1 lasers are safe under all conditions of normal use while class 4 lasers are the most dangerous and should be handled with absolute care.
FDA Accession #: FDA Accession Number
The FDA, Food & Drug Administration, is the government body that governs lasers and laser usage in the United States. An FDA Accession Number is issued to manufacturers that have followed the reporting procedures before the import of lasers into the U.S.A.
Power Output:: Power Output
The power of a laser pointer is typically measured in mW or milli-Watts, or 1/1000 of a Watt. The higher the mW, the more powerful the laser pointer will be.

Wavelength: Wavelength
Wavelength, measured in nanometers (nm), is the distance between one peak or crest of a wave of light. A majority of laser pointers have wavelengths in the visible spectrum between 400nm - 700nm. Each wavelength specifies a specific color in the visible spectrum. For example, our violet lasers have a wavelength of 405nm.

Transverse Mode: Transverse Mode
Our laser pointers usually operate in TE or TEM. Transverse Electric (TE) modes mean there are no electric field in the direction of propagation. Transverse Electromagnetic (TEM) modes mean there are neither electric nor magnetic field in the direction of propagation. In a laser with cylindrical symmetry, the transverse mode patterns are described by a combination of a Gaussian beam profile with a Laguerre polynomial. The modes are denoted TEMpl where p and l are integers labeling the radial and angular mode orders, respectively.
Beam Divergence: Beam Divergence
The angle at which the laser beam increases in diameter with distance. For example, the higher the beam divergence, the faster the laser beam diameter will expand with increased distance. In pointing applications where range is an important factor, it's ideal to have low beam divergence.

The measurement of laser beam diameter at aperture, or where the laser exits the laser pointer.

NOHD: Nominal Ocular Hazard Distance
The distance away from a laser source where it is below Maximum Permissible Exposure (M.P.E.) on the cornea and on the skin. In layman terms, this is the distance away from the laser where your eyes are safe from immediate or long term damages. The measurements are calculated based on beam divergence and power output.

Eyewear O.D: Required Optical Density
A measurement of how much laser energy will pass through a filter, or laser safety glasses. OD is actually the base-10 logarithm of the attenuation factor by which the optical filter reduces beam power. For example, OD 1 will allow 1/10 of light to pass through or 10%. OD 2 will allow 1/100 of light to pass through or 1%. The higher the OD, the higher the protection.
M2 Factor: M2 Quality Factor
M2, called the “M-square” factor, is the deviation of the laser beam from a theoretical Gaussian beam, or a perfectly circular laser beam. While a perfect M2 quality factor of 1 does not exist, most of our laser pointers come very close.

Polarization Ratio: Polarization Ratio
Laser diodes are linearly polarized, that is, the light particles travel in one direction. The polarization ratio is the ratio between the parallel and vertical polarization vectors of the laser beam. The polarization ratio is measured when the laser is operating near its maximum output power ratings.

The allowed temperature for storing the laser. Storing your laser at temperatures beyond the provided range will damage the laser components within.
